Dear Mark, We met through our mutual passion for American comics, but soon to discover we held so much more in common. Days spent at Lords soaking up the sun and cricket over a pint or several and a passion for baseball, you for the Yankees, me the Blue Jays, even sharing a 'hatred' for the dreaded Red Sox. Regular fine dining was always enjoyed, when funds permitted, but most sadly the 'Arrand Table' at Rules will be empty next spring, our annual pilgrimage now brought to a premature close. You fitted the definition of 'soulmate' to perfection. I will miss you dearly, your wit, banter and intellect, but whenever I think of you, which will be often, a smile will be raised on my face.
